10 Smart Tips for Planning and Packing for a Move

1. Jot down each and every part of the shifting process in a note pad or notebook, such as phone numbers, mobile numbers, addresses, names and appointments.

6. Put heavy items on a carpet to make moving them across a hardware floor simpler. Do not overweight a box. Make sure a box is not more than 25 kg in its weight.

7. Label each and every box properly with appropriate tag to make unpacking process easier and simpler.

8. If relocating with pets, make sure to keep track of them at all times. When relocating} across state lines or internationally, check with the authorities for any pet restrictions and polices.

9. Pack all essentials such as toiletries, medicine, aspirin, contact solution, etc in one carton, so it will all be simply reachable.

10. Pack an emergency overnight bag with a change of garments and any emergency numbers you will need.
